Go Live – Privacy Policy

Go Live is a small, privately distributed app that lets you stream your camera to your own Facebook and YouTube accounts with one button. It is made by DGWaynes LLC for a small group of people, not sold, and shows no advertising.

What the app collects

Nothing is collected by us. Go Live has no server and no database. Everything the app knows stays on your device:

• Sign-in tokens for Facebook and YouTube, stored in your device's secure storage (Windows DPAPI, iOS Keychain, Android Keystore). They are used only to create and end your broadcasts and to read their status, and are sent only to Facebook's and Google's own services.
• Your Facebook name and the list of Pages you manage, shown in the app so you can pick where to go live. Kept on the device only.
• Stream titles and settings you type in, kept on the device only.
• Location, only if you switch on the on-screen graphics that show your town, speed or weather alerts. Coordinates are sent to the US National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) to look up alerts and the nearest place name, and are never logged or stored.

What the app sends to Facebook and YouTube

When you press Go Live, the app creates a live video on the account you chose, streams your camera and microphone to it, and ends it when you press Stop. The audience of the broadcast is the one you choose; the app asks Facebook for "Public" unless you start a private test.

What we can see

Nothing. We have no access to your accounts, tokens, broadcasts or location.

Deleting your data

Press Disconnect next to a platform in the app to delete its token from your device, or uninstall the app to remove everything. To revoke the app's access on Facebook's side, see Data deletion instructions.
